Orchid Festival at Kew, London
From 10 February -11 March 2018, flower lovers head to Richmond, just outside of London, for Royal Botanic Gardens' Kew Gardens to celebrate the orchid. During Kew's 23rd annual Orchid Festival, the botanical and cultural richness of Thailand will be on display. Botany enthusiasts will find themselves transported to Thailand as they gaze upon colourful curated displays of Thai orchids—including a tunnel of Vanda orchids—hear the sounds of Thai life, enjoy Thai delicacies, and live music. There are also opportunities to hear talks about conservation efforts, orchid growing tips and Thai botanical expeditions from Kew's horticulturists and scientists.
